An Australian influencer has broken down in tears fearing she can no longer afford to pay rent after losing subscribers on her raunchy OnlyFans page since the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic.
In a video posted to TikTok, the Gold Coast influencer, who goes by the name Billie Beever, said she had been affected by the widespread job losses after many fans have cancelled their subscriptions.
The video was captioned: “I’m an essential worker to…. its a tough time for everyone right now ….. even s3x workers” (sic).
“Everyone on TV is always talking about how everybody has lost their jobs and people can’t pay for anything anymore, but I’m losing subscribers on OnlyFans and that’s my main source of income,” she said.
Beever, 27, who has 130,000 Instagram followers, supports herself though the website which charges users for photos and videos, which are often very risqué.
“I can’t pay my rent, I can’t work. Even if I was to go back to work, what am I meant to do? Strip clubs are all closed, you can’t even be close to somebody because of social distancing,” she said.
“I have nothing else going for me, I have no other talent. I’ve got nothing else.
“I can’t dance, I can’t sing, I can’t do anything. I don’t understand what I’m supposed to do. I just want everything to go back to normal so people can keep subscribing.”
The video was removed from TikTok after she received abusing comments on the video.
On her Instagram stories, Beever wrote how she was “sick and tired” of being abused over her choice of income.
“Because we are in the adult industry doesn’t make us any less of a person than you are,” she wrote.
She told Daily Mail Australia, she joined OnlyFans after having her first child last year and was and drawn to the flexible nature of the work.
“It was instantly a great way to bring in an income for myself and it is now my main source of income,” she said.
Australia stars on OnlyFans include Perth Instagram model Jem Wolfie and Love Island’s Vanessa Sierra.
